Pocket Portals

A participatory project delivered to a group of young people, which encouraged them to consider people, places or moments that made them feel safe and provided a sense of comfort. Participants produced artwork based on these identified people/places using disposable photographs they had taken. Participants’ work was then translated into private pockets, creating places of personal importance, which could be used to transport them to better feelings and memories.
