I am a London based visual artist and creative wellbeing workshop facilitator, who up until recently, taught Art and Design in a secondary school in Lambeth for 6+ years.
My work is fundamentally centred on the importance of forming meaningful connections to improve emotional and mental health, using creativity as a means to do so.
My current work examines the role and value of place in our lives and it’s ability to emotionally ground us. Creatively narrating my personal experience of displacement as a way of acknowledging and validating my lived experience has proven to be an invaluable tool in supporting my own wellbeing. I am driven to help others strengthen their connection with themselves, others and their surroundings through mindful and creative engagement in a co-creative setting.
